In Lefty's first foray into the ring as a veteran, Lefty won his 8th Best in Specialty Show at the Blossom Valley Beagle Club.  In his last time in the ring at the age of 11, Lefty won Best of Variety at the Santa Barbara Kennel Club over some of the top ranked specials in the country.  Just months after winning his last dog show, Lefty was diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma, and just ten days later we had to say our goodbyes to a wonderful friend, companion, and the best bed dog we could ever hope to have.

Lefty, you will always be our hearts, and we miss you everyday.
